When most people think of St.Patrick’s Day, they probably think of leprechauns, four leaf clovers, rainbows, and pots of gold. Maybe it’s the country girl in me, but when I think of St.Patrick’s Day, I think of green beer! Whether it be in a classic beer mug or a Mason jar, it’s almost a necessity on St. Patty’s Day!
This quirky set is somewhat clip art-style. I love this style but rarely do it because honestly, black icing is pretty fragile and I don’t often want to risk having easily damaged cookies for my customers.
- 1 part Sunny Side Up Bakery “Sky Blue”

- 1 part Wilton “Orange”
- 2 parts AmeriColor “Leaf Green”

- Beer Mug: hand cut
To start, I applied the colors as shown below, all in one session. This allowed all colors to “melt” into each other and provides a flat surface with no separation between sections. Make sure you allow all layers to dry between each of the next steps.
And of course, MORE BUBBLES!
